Meet The Builders

Tom began his business in 1978 and has been building homes and developing communities ever since. He received his B/S degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas, and later obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration from UMKC. Tom has a longstanding reputation as one of Kansas City’s most respected homebuilders and developers.

Having grown up the son of Tom and Gayle French, it could be said that home building is in Tyler’s blood. Like his Dad, Tyler attended KU and then UMKC for post graduate work. He lives in Johnson County with his wife Tricia and two children, Tallulah & Arlo. Tyler is coupling some new designs and floorplans with the same quality construction as Tom French Homes.

With a diverse background in construction and over 30 years of experience in the residential home building and remodeling industry, Tim focuses on building a quality home that is both beautiful and functional to live in. He develops a great relationship with homeowners and subcontractors alike. He enjoys being on-site from the foundation up to oversee every detail of the build and takes pride in completing a quality home that meets homeowners desires and expectations.
